A Letter from Father to Son

I have been a regular reader of Zen Habits blog. The blog generally talks about productivity, getting things done, getting organized, simple living etc. The blogger Leo Babauta has a great knack of writing great articles. One of the most recent articles on the blog is a letter he writes to his three years old son Seth. In the letter he shares some worldly wisdom and hopes that his son will enjoy and appreciate it when the time comes.

The letter is simply amazing. Among the other points in the letter the best point I liked was "Life is not a competition". So many times we think about the end result of failure or success that we lose the little pleasures enjoying the journey.

The King of Torts

The King of Torts a 2003 novel by John Grisham walks the reader to an area of the legal profession, a group of lawyers who fear the jury and the judge. They bring down big corporations by class-action lawsuits and collect couple of millions by out of court settlements.
The novel is a wonderful read and lets the reader explore this class of lawyers.
